About Glendale

Glendale is a separate incorporated enclave within Denver, comprising a little more than half a square mile. In 1952, Glendale was founded on a spirit of independence, when its residents feared Denver’s annexation and banded together to form the town. That same spirit still pervades the municipality as it develops into a retail, restaurant, and entertainment destination for the entire metro area.

In addition to a variety of big box stores, home and office supply shops and grocery stores throughout Glendale, the new CitySet offers seven sit-down restaurants, a handful of popular fast casual offerings, and two upscale hotels. The development will soon be joined by the planned Glendale 180 which will blend traditional anchors, fine dining, a hotel, movie theater and unique entertainment.

The town also features plenty of outdoor activities. Cherry Creek runs through the center of Glendale, pocket parks dot the city’s map, and the impressive Infinity Park provides an urban oasis where world-class rugby, fitness, community gatherings and festivals can be enjoyed amid the 4,000-seat stadium, expansive outdoor park, state-of-the-art event center, and elite athletic training facility. Glendale is also home to the annual Denver Greek Festival, an incredibly popular annual area tradition for more than 50 years.

While Glendale proper doesn’t offer a lot of residential options, there are an assortment of condos and townhomes, presenting opportunity to investors or first-time homeowners who want the convenience of Denver at a lower cost.
